Sangareddy: Representatives of the APSRTC staff and workers federation (SWF) submitted a memorandum to the Medak regional manager on Saturday and demanded compensation for the time and energy lost in the frequent and long traffic snarls on the Hyderabad route.
The SWF’s district president S.D.Saleemuddin, CITU district secretary Manikyam in a press release alleged that the drivers and conductors on the Hyderabad duty have been losing valuable time stuck in heavy traffic jams on National highway nine.
Management urged
They urged the APSRTC management to study the problem and compensate the extra time that they have been spending in ferrying passenger in this particular route.
Other demands include addition of new buses, tab on number of private buses, medical aid in local hospitals.
