Briefing on the role of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (TNPFOG), its secretary Jayam Kannan said that the federation would strive to reduce the maternal mortality rate by undertaking researches and studies in pregnancy-related complications. The TNPFOG would also guide medical students and practitioners in fetching fellowships and scholarships for academic support. The president of TNPFOG R. Vijaya and president of TRIOGS S.
