Ramachandrudu, professor in Economics, AU said, the benefits of economic reforms were failing to reach certain core areas like agriculture in the country Speaking at a workshop on ‘Economic reforms’ held here under the aegis of St. Theressa’s College for Women, he said, “although the reform agenda unveiled by the P.V. Narasimha Rao government in the early 90s had helped shore up the foreign exchange reserves , it still meant nothing to the farmers gripped by the worst agrarian crisis”.
