ANANTAPUR: The district police have decided to take tight security measures for the Ganesh festival to be celebrated later this month, keeping in view the recent bomb blasts in Hyderabad. In a meeting with the DSPs, CIs and other police officers here on Sunday Superintendent of Police M.S. Raveendra instructed them not to allow effort to breach law and order and peace. Mr. Raveendra directed the police to take necessary measures required working in coordination with the ‘utsava samithis’.
