Kozhikode: The Malabar Chamber of Commerce and the Calicut Airport Committee have demanded more flights on the Doha-Bahrain-Sharjah-Dubai sector to meet the passenger rush at this time of the year. K.P. Aboobacker, Chamber Secretary; and P.V. Chandran, Calicut Airport Committee chairman, wanted Indian to introduce more flights till September 6 so that Keralites who have come home for the holiday can return on time before schools reopen in the Gulf.
