5,100 teachers appointed for Std. VI-VII

CHENNAI: The Government has appointed 5,100 teachers for Standards VI-VII.

Totally, 7,979 teachers are to be recruited. The Government will soon take action for recruiting the others, according to a senior government official.

On receiving the orders, the teachers called on Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at the Secretariat on Sunday.
