PARTY TUSSLE: TDP Karimnagar district unit leaders clashing at the party’s general body meeting in Karimnagar on Sunday.
KARIMNAGAR: Internal bickering in the district TDP had come to the fore at the party general body meeting with the supporters of former Minister M. Damodar Reddy and Peddapalli assembly segment with leaders raising a voice of revolt against the district party leadership in Karimnagar town on Sunday.
The Peddapalli assembly constituency leaders have protested against the party high command for not uttering a word against the registration of cases against the TDP district vice president Vijayaramana Rao and MPP G. Ramulu after the attack on a private hospital in Karimnagar town recently.
No protests
They charged that the district party leaders have never protested against the registration of false cases against the party leaders nor inquired about the incident.
At this juncture, TDP district president L Ramana had stated that the party leaders had not informed him about the incident.
It may be recalled that the TDP senior leader M. Damodar Reddy of Kamalapur assembly segment had condemned the registration of criminal cases against the party leaders and demanded the private doctors to withdraw the cases.
When the situation was out going out of control with the leaders of Peddapalli and Karimnagar assembly segment clashing and arguing, the TDP senior leader Kadiam Srihari interfered and assured the leaders to inquire into entire episode and act accordingly.
