Lalu Prasad sees fall of Nitish government

Special Correspondent

PATNA: Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday said the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar would crumble under the weight of its “failures and party wrangles.”

Releasing the names of the party’s office-bearers and members of the national executive here, Mr. Prasad denied that he would attempt to pull down the government. “Why should I do that? The dissidents themselves will do it.”

Mr. Prasad said the failure of the government on all fronts was causing discomfort among the National Democratic Alliance constituents and its legislators. It had failed to provide adequate flood relief to people.
