Two accident victims die

Drivers arrested in both the cases

BANGALORE: Nataraj (41), a resident of Basaveshwaranagar 8th Main, was killed on Friday after he was hit by a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus near the Shakti Ganapathi Temple on Basaveshwaranagar 8th Main Road in Vijaynagar Traffic Police Station limits.
The police said Nataraj suffered severe head injuries. He was admitted to a private hospital where he died. The bus driver Balu has been arrested, the police said.
In another accident, Chellayan (48), a resident of Mathadahalli, was hit by a call centre vehicle near Priyadarshini Junction in Jayamahal of R.T. Nagar Traffic Police Station limits on Friday. The police said Chellayan died of the injuries at a private hospital in the area. The driver Ramesh has been arrested.
