HYDERABAD: Nat Geo, the National Geographic Channel’s innovative school engagement programme, is back with its second edition of nationwide programme of Nat Geo Junior Hunt. The Nat Geo Junior title would be given to one who is curious, adventurous, articulate, energetic and smart, in short an all-rounder. The aim of the programme is to motivate young minds to learn more about the world they live in, according to a release from the National Geographic Channel. NGC has partnered with Max New York Life and Parle-G to provide this unique platform for children to showcase their brilliance through a stimulating learning experience. The Nat Geo Junior Hunt reaches out to 400 reputed schools targeting about four lakh children aged between 11 to 14 years, across 10 cities in India. The selection process for this hunt would start with the ‘Think Again’ tests to be conducted across schools in the country. The tests then would be followed by scientifically designed rounds, which include games, puzzles, debates, thinking out the of box challenges, an adventure camp and grooming sessions. Online test
Net Geo also tied up with Yahoo to host the online test and children could now log on to http://yahoo.in/ngc to take the ‘Think again’ test and for more details.
