VISAKHAPATNAM: The atmosphere was charged with ‘masti’ and the mood was upbeat. Jhansi’s dance on foot-tapping ‘Crazy Kiya’ song from Bollywood flick ‘Dhoom-2 drove the masses crazy. The item numbers performed by Hot Steppers dance troupe, interspersed throughout the show, set the stage on fire at ‘Takdina Din’ show organised at the Tenneti Park on the Beach Road on Sunday evening. Though the sound system snapped in the middle of a song for a minute, the air reverberated with claps when the item was restarted. Millennium Orchestra singer and one of the finalists of ‘Paadutha Theeyaga’ programme on Maa TV channel, Hazrat started the programme with a prayer. While playback singers Gopika Poornima and Mano crooned melodious Telugu numbers from ‘Bommarillu’, ‘Rakhi’, ‘Shankardada Zindabad’ etc, the movie clippings of the songs on the big LED screen in the background made the experience ecstatic. Poornima’s famous song ‘Nuvvu Nuvvu’ received tremendous applause. The highlight of the show was the catwalk done by children. Attired in trendy and colourful outfits, they sashayed on the ramp with style and loads of attitude, waving to the spectators. The dare devil antics, aerobics on fire and brick breaking by Dhanaraj, of ‘Yogi’ fame enthralled the audiences. Wellfare Group of Companies Managing Director Malla Vijay Prasad and Director Aruna Kumari presented memento to all the participants.
