“Hyderabad epicentre of terrorists”

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: Hyderabad has become the epicentre of terrorists and fundamentalist forces there are giving shelter to terrorist elements, senior BJP leader M. Venkaiah Naidu alleged on Monday.

Noting that the Hyderabad police alone could not be held responsible for the recent bomb blasts, he told a press conference here that the blasts reinforced the need to establish an exclusive federal investigating agency to deal with terrorists. For, the Central Bureau of Investigation was already overburdened.

Criticises Sonia

Criticising Congress president Sonia Gandhi for not visiting Hyderabad during her recent trip to Andhra Pradesh, the BJP leader said she should have called on the injured in hospital. “At least this would have made her understand the gravity of the situation.”
