A walk in the clouds

This is an invitation for a walk in the clouds, over Thekkady.

Trek to dizzy heights to have a breathtaking view of the Periyar landscape, covering grasslands, evergreen, deciduous and riverine forests and expanses of irrigated land. A visual treat for nature lovers and an occasion for adrenalin rush for adventur ers is what the Periyar Tiger Reserve offers through its newly launched trekking package, Cloud Walk.

Bookings can be done at the Ecotourism Information Centre, Ambadi Junction, Thekkady. The trekking programme starts at Gandhi Park, Kulathupalam.
