Kakinada: The CPI (ML) Liberation and its affiliate units took out a protest rally in the main streets of the town on Tuesday.
They later staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate protesting against the Indo-US joint naval exercises that commenced off the Visakhapatnam coast.
CPI (ML) Liberation district secretary B. Bangarraju, AICCTU district president Ch. Nageswerarao, IPWA district president Kakara Rathna Kumari, Girijana sangham district president Rechukatla Simhachalam addressed demonstrators at a meeting held at the Collectorate.
AP Vyavasaya Coolie Sangham district president Yegupati Arjunarao and district secretary B. Viplav Kumar led the delegation that met the Collector.
