Furniture donated to schools

ERODE: Bannari Rural Foundation, a part of the Bannari Amman group, has donated furniture worth Rs. 5 lakh to the Government boys and girls higher secondary schools in Sathyamangalam here. A release from the Foundation says following an appeal from Collector T. Udhayachandran to corporate houses to help improve infrastructure in the Government schools, Chairman S. V. Balasubramaniam gave 100 desks and benches worth Rs. 2.85 lakh to the boys’ school, 60 desks and benches to the girls’ school.
