Prisoners’ rights rally

Kozhikode: Hundreds of people participated in a ‘harita rally’ organised by the Vathashiksha Virudha Munnani (anti-capital punishment front) in support of the rights of prisoners here on Tuesday. The rally commenced from Muthalakulam Maidan at 3 p.m. and concluded at the Mosfussil bus station. A public meeting was also organised in this connection. Social activist K.K. Kochu inaugurated the programme. — Staff Reporter
