New organisation

Kozhikode: An organisation comprising those working for LPG agencies has been set up. M. Rajan, INTUC State Secretary, presided over the meeting held in this connection on Monday. It was noted that there was no organisation to protect the service conditions or wages of those who delivered gas cylinders from godowns to households. Mr. Rajan is president, O.K.U Nair secretary and K. Shaji treasurer of the new association. —Staff Reporter
