Trainees’ demands

PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry Scientific Agricultural Trainees’ Association on Tuesday urged the Government to fill the vacancies for the Group III and Group IV posts in the Departments of Agriculture, Forests, Rural Development, Animal Husbandry and Public Works by appointing the trainees who had also completed their apprenticeship. In certain cases, these persons could be appointed on daily wages basis too, secretary of the association P. Devanathan said.
