Escorts petition dismissed

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has dismissed a petition by Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Limited here seeking quashing of an eviction notice issued to it by the Delhi Development Authority.

The High Court had in 2004 restrained the DDA from taking physical possession of EHIRCL. The EHIRCL had approached the High Court following cancellation of the land lease agreement by the DDA.
