Schoolgirl found murdered

THENI: A schoolgirl was murdered at T. Moonandipatti near Thevaram on Tuesday.

The police said the deceased was Navaneedha Priya (9), daughter of Murugan, driver in a private engineering college in Salem district.

The face was crushed and there were injuries on the back of the neck. The police had secured a woman at this village in this connection.
