ERODE: An education loan mela will be organised at the Collectorate here on September 7 and 8 in which many banks will participate.
Collector T. Udhaychandran said on Tuesday that the mela would go on from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. He wanted the needy students and parents to make use of the mela. He asked the students to bring the photo copies of their Plus-Two mark sheet, family card, letter from the respective College Principal about the fees to be remitted and also a letter about the study. If the parent or the student is having a bank account, they may bring the Pass Book. Students studying in colleges in Erode, Namakkal, Salem and Coimbatore districts were eligible to participate, he said.
