HYDERABAD: Jayaprakash Narayan, National Coordinator of Lok Satta Party (LSP) on Tuesday regretted that it was only in politics that successors turned leaders, while in every other field new leaders emerge.
He was addressing a meeting of ‘Yuva Satta’, the party’s youth wing, before flagging off a rally as part of ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’, a 24 days-long programme to promote participation of youth in politics.
Dr. Narayan underscored the need for new politics for the new generation to provide quality health care, education and livelihood opportunities without birth-based discrimination. These three were focus areas on which the attention of Government needed to be focussed, he said. He said Lok Satta unequivocally supported the ‘123’ nuclear pact.
