Deer drowns in well

ATTUR: A spotted deer drowned in irrigation well near here on Sunday. Forest officials said that the deer, which strayed into human habitations in search of water, accidentally fell into the well in Ceylon Colony and drowned. Farmers in the area informed the forest officials, who retrieved the carcass from the well.
