Prakash Raj’s Duet Movies and Moser Baer have joined hands to produce three Tamil films, ‘Velli Therai’ (starring Prithivi Raj, Gopika, and Prakash Raj), ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ (starring Prakash Raj and Trisha as father and daughter) and ‘Mayilu’ (with an all new star cast).
G. Dhananjayan, COO, Moser Baer Entertainment, said that they started to produce films a few months ago. “We have started to produce films both in Hindi (‘Shourya’ and ‘Shankat City’) and Tamil.”
He said that his company possessed the rights for 1,400 Tamil film titles, and it had released 400 titles so far. ‘Mozhi’, produced by Duet Movies, is to be released in CD format on September 17.
