Man, wife found dead

Thiruvananthapuram: A 60-year-old man and his wife were found dead in their house at Parassala on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Babu and Sasikala, 46. The police suspect the couple to have committed suicide by consuming poison.

They have registered a case of unnatural death.

A 45-year-old man was killed after he was run over by a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus at Attingal late on Tuesday.

The police were yet to identify the deceased.

The driver has been booked on the charge of rash and negligent driving.

An under-trial prisoner died at Government Medical College Hospital (MCH) following jaundice on Monday night.

He was identified as Mohanan, 45, of Aanavoor, Neyyattinkara.

He was admitted to the MCH by the Central Jail authorities on August 29.
