Accused in several criminal cases found murdered

TAMBARAM: An accused in several criminal cases in Chitlapakkam and Tambaram areas was found murdered near the Tambaram railway station on Tuesday. The body of S. Kumar (30) was noticed near the railway track and initially, police suspected him to have been run over by a train. After an inquest, they confirmed that it was a murder. Police said the victim was assaulted with clubs and boulders and done to death. The Government Railway Police and personnel of Tambaram police station are investigating.
