“Still on U.S. terror list”

P. S. Suryanarayana

SINGAPORE: The U.S. continues to classify North Korea as a state sponsoring terrorism. U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill said in Sydney they were “not off this list” of states reckoned to be in the business of promoting or practising terrorism.

North Korea on Monday announced that it was being removed from the list following talks between the two sides in Geneva over the week-end. According to North Korea, it was also offered political and economic compensation.
