City I and City III score five points

CHENNAI: City I and City III scored five points by virtue of the first innings lead in their TNCA under-15 round-robin league matches here on Tuesday.

The scores: City II 95 and 108 in 52 overs (R. Vishnu 53 n.o.) drew with City I 181 for five in 90 overs (K. Bharatshankar 56, R. Ananth 43). Points: City I 5, City II 2.

City III 157 and 172 in 62.3 overs (Abishek Mehra 45, V.S. Vignesh 44, Ricky Jones four for 49, A. Karthik four for 40) drew with City IV 99 in 72.2 overs (V. Sashidev 27, V. Jaiganesh four for 15). Points: City III 5, City IV 2.
