Motorcyclist run over

NEW DELHI: A motorcyclist was run over by a DTC bus at Nangloi here on Tuesday. The bus driver has been arrested.

According to the police, the accident took place around 9-15 a.m. when the bus plying on route 539 – from Nangloi to Mehrauli -- hit the motorcycle driven by 23-year-old Pawan Kumar. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. A case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving has been registered at the Nangloi police station.
