ERODE: A 35-year-old woman gave poison to her daughter before consuming it on Tuesday. According to the police, frequent quarrels were reported between Chinnathai and her husband Sidhalingam (40) of Chottegoundenure in Pasuvanapuram tribal settlement, Kadmbur hills. A few days ago, Sidhalingam left the house and did not return. A frustrated Chinnathai administered poison to her daughter Kavitha. The neighbours took them to Sathyamangalam Government Hospital, where Kavitha died. Chinnathai died on way to a hospital.
