Minister assures teachers of unified service rules implementation

Staff Reporter

Sangareddy: Assuring the teachers on the Teachers’ day celebrations here on Wednesday the Minister for School Education Damodar Rajnarsimha announced that the Government is keen on implementing the unified service rules despite of the hurdles it has been facing. Addressing the Gurupoojotsavam at the Zilla Parishat conference hall here the Minister asked the teachers not to believe media reports on this issue as the Chief minister himself is seized with the matter and the Government would leave no stone unturned for the implementation of the order.

More funds

Mr. Rajnarsimha agreed that there were problems in improving the infrastructure of schools in the state but said that the Government would pump in more and more funds to address the problem. To begin with, he said that Medak district would receive funds for better libraries, better class room furniture and school buildings. He also urged the managements of private schools to share social obligations like the mid-day meal or free books along with the Government schools.
