Preacher killed in road accident

Vehicle overturns after driver loses control while trying to avoid a bus coming in the opposite direction

Fatal accident: The van which overturned on Patancheru Road in Medak district on Wednesday

Sangareddy: Forty-year-old Mohammad Subhan Sherif, resident of Charminar area of Hyderabad, was killed in an accident on NH-9 under Patancheru police station limits on Wednesday.

Four dead

The Tavera van in which the religious preacher was going towards Sangareddy along four others died instantaneously when the vehicle overturned near the Allwyn watch unit after driver Harshad lost control while trying to avoid a bus coming in the opposite direction. High court advocate Suresh Sawanth, Khaja Abdul Asadulla Khan and Aziz Khan and the driver were injured. All the injured have been admitted to Maithri hospital in Chandanagar.
