Jaipur: The Rajasthan Government on Thursday decided to exempt entertainment tax from tickets for Shah Rukh Khan-starrer movie “Chak De India”. The film would be tax-free in the State from Friday onwards for one year. In Rajasthan, entertainment tax is 30 percent of the ticket cost. An elated State distributor of the film Raj Bansal, who has released the film in 13 theatres, welcomed the Government’s decision and said the film was running to packed halls in all shows. The film has already been given entertainment tax waiver in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra and Haryana. PTI
