BELLARY: The Department of Health has organised a leprosy health awareness campaign in Bellary district.

In the second phase between September 17 and September 19, it would be held in Hospet, Hagari Bommanahalli and Kudligi taluks.

Anganwadi workers or health volunteers, under the supervision of health workers, would take up a house-to-house survey, educate the people about leprosy, its symptoms besides distributing leaflets.

They will also make note of suspected cases. Such a list will be submitted to the government hospital.
