NEW DELHI: A two-member Chinese delegation, part of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee, was in the Capital to study kabaddi. Liang Yong and Li Naizhen, members of the organising committee of the 2010 Asian Games, were given a presentation on kabaddi at the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) office here on Thursday, in the presence of the IOA president Suresh Kalmadi and secretary-general Randhir Singh. The delegation, which also witnessed demonstration matches in the men’s and women’s sections at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, expressed satisfaction and the possibilities of the game being popular in the 2010 Games in which China would field its teams. — Special Correspondent
