Minister to inaugurate cow shelter

Guruvayur: Devaswom Minister G. Sudhakaran will inaugurate Gokulam, a shelter for cows owned by the Guruvayur Devaswom, at Kaveedu, near here, on September 8. In all, 57 cows kept at the Vengad estate will be shifted to the shelter at Kaveedu. A ‘Gopuja’ will be held at Kaveedu on September 8. Those who wish to offer puja to cows should register their names with Guruvayur Sreekrishna Temple Deputy Administrator on September 7, according to a release. — Staff Reporter
