Joseph Thekkel passes away

Fr. Joseph Thekkel, retired priest of the Archdiocese of Bangalore, died at his hometown of Palai in Kerala on September 5. He was 85. He was ordained priest in 1951 and worked in the archdiocese for 37 years. He worked as professor at St. Peter’s Pontifical Seminary. His funeral will take place on Friday at 10.30 a.m. at St. Mary’s church, Lalam, Palai.
