Contests held

Under the auspices of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Kumulur, various competitions were held for students of teacher training institutes in the district at six centres.

The competitions were held as part of the celebrations of the World Literacy Day falling on September 8. Competitions on essay writing, poetry, painting, and elocution were held.
