Durban: Towering fast bowler Andre Nel has been named as the replacement for injured Loots Bosman in the South African side for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament starting in Johannesburg next week. The convenor of the selection committee, Joubert Strydom, said on Wednesday that Nel’s inclusion, however, was subject to the approval of the ICC technical committee. Nel’s selection has come as a surprise because it was speculated that Jacques Kallis, as a batsman, would replace Bosman, who is also a batsman. The team: Mornh van Wyk, Alviro Petersen, Robin Peterson, Boeta Dippenaar (captain), Hashim Amla, Justin Ontong, Ashwell Prince, Werner Coetsee, Dale Steyn, Thami Tsolekile, Friedel de Wet, Yusuf Abdullah, Rory Kleinveldt and Charl Lan geveldt. — PTI
