ANANTAPUR: Speakers at a meeting on ‘Youth Leadership and Personality Development’ organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra has advised the youth of the region to stay away from factional feuds. They alleged that factional violence had not only denied peace and development but it had also nipped in the bud bright future of many a youth. Concluding session
At the concluding session of the five-day training programme for the youth held on Friday evening, the speakers also told the youth not to fall in to the trap of terrorism. They added that extremism was spreading its tentacles very fast in the society. They asked the youth to develop good behaviour and personality. Police Training College DSP B. Kannaji Rao, Rajayogini Vijayaji of Prajapita Brahmakumaris organisation and others spoke on the occasion. District Youth Coordinator I. Ahamadullah Khan said apart from the personality development the participating youth were also given special coaching in volleyball. Later, 20 youth organisations and 20 mahila mandals were distributed sports material.
