Kumaraswamy bats well

VISAKHAPATNAM: K. Kumaraswamy hit a half-century to help Visakhapatnam reach 200 for six on the first day of the two-day league match against Vizianagaram in the ACA North Zone seniors’ inter-district tournament in Kakinada on Saturday.

The scores: East Godavari 171 for three in 67 overs (S.V. Ramesh 45, Durga Prasad 39 batting, A.S.K. Varma 34) vs Srikakulam.

Visakhapatnam 200 for six in 74.1 overs (K. Kumaraswamy 65, Y. Gnaneswara Rao 43, Bharat Reddy 27, Asgar Ali three for 42) vs Vizianagaram.
