SBMJC wins title

BANGALORE: Sree Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College bagged the title in Canara Bank Rahul Sebastian memorial inter-collegiate basketball tournament with a 71-69 win over St. Joseph’s College of Commerce in the final at Malleswaram courts here on Friday. Kaushik, who scored 28 points, was the key performer for SBMJC, while Abdul (21 points) impressed for SJCC. In the semifinals, SJCC defeated NITTE 55-40 and SBMJC beat RNSIT 58-47.
