Man kills toddler

A five-month-old boy was allegedly killed by his father, T. Jangaiah(35), in Shamshabad on Saturday afternoon. T. Jangaiah, reportedly murdered his son Akhil by hitting him to the ground. . He quarrelled with his wife Manjula, who alleged that he was not the biological father of the child and in a fit of rage, he killed the child, according to the police.

Fruit vendor killed

A fruit vendor died after the motorcycle he was riding skidded off the road at PDT crossroads in Rajendranagar on Saturday. The police said Mohammed Nasir (30) of Falaknuma, was going on some work when the incident took place.

Boy commits suicide

An 11-year-old boy, who attempted suicide by setting himself ablaze at his house at Vaddera Basthi in Amberpet on Thursday, died while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General hospital on Saturday. O. Ramesh ended his life after his friend’s parents allegedly rebuked him over a issue.

Auditor in ACB net

An Auditor, Pay and Accounts Office, Hyderabad, S.K. Kashmir Kumar, was arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday after he accepted Rs.700 as bribe from a complainant for passing a bill. The amount was later recovered from him. He is being produced before the Special Court, a press release said.
