Lucknow: A ten-year-old boy was killed in a collision between a jeep and a tempo in the Chowk area here on Sunday, triggering protests by people who torched the jeep and blocked traffic, police said. The mishap occurred when the driver of the jeep lost control over the vehicle and it collided with the tempo, they said. The boy was travelling in the tempo. Angry over the incident, a crowd set the jeep afire and also blocked traffic on the road, police said adding, a case has been registered against the jeep driver.
