Krishnagiri: The Department of Employment and Training has set up a study circle at the District Employment Exchange here to enable students update their knowledge and appear for various competitive examinations. Collector Santhosh Babu said the study circle would offer free coaching to candidates appearing for the Group I preliminary examination of Tamil Nadu State Public Service Commission. Coaching would be provided for those applying for the posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police/Sub-Collector and District Forest Officer. Unemployed graduates and post-graduates in the district who are applying for competitive examinations can make use of the books provided at the study circle in the employment exchange. The Department of Employment and Training has opened similar study circles at panchayat union offices to help students from rural areas. Books are available in both Tamil and English in the concerned study circles. Interested candidates can register their names with the study circles and get benefit. More information can be had from the District Employment Office in Krishnagiri, the Collector added.
