Graft will be tackled, says Minister

KOCHI: The 41 promotional vacancies in Supplyco will be filled within two weeks, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies C. Divakaran said here on Sunday. At the inauguration of the Supplyco Employees’ Association (All-India Trade Union Congress) State conference held to mark its 25th anniversary, Mr. Divakaran said the State Government’s stand against corruption would be strictly followed in the department and surprise inspections and cash verifications would be conducted at the depots. People handling cash would be suspended if excess money was found with them.
