TIRUPATI: The Nellore police reportedly picked up four persons for questioning on Sunday in the sensational Vidyanagar blast case in which former Chief Minister N. Janardhana Reddy, and his wife, N. Rajyalakshmi, Minister for Women and Child Welfare, had a miraculous escape.
According to sources, a former naxalite was picked up near Buchireddypalem for questioning, while a sympathiser with a jail sentence, who is currently on conditional bail, was also picked up near Dakkili. A man with his white dress in a soiled condition, was reportedly picked up near Naidupet and a knife found in his possession. Another person was also taken into custody near Chittamur.
