Jeev maintains 47th place

Crans Montana (Switzerland): Jeev Milkha Singh gave away three bogeys on the back nine in the third round to maintain his 47th place in the Omega European Masters golf tournament.

Jeev shot a one-over 72 and was one-over for three rounds on Saturday.

Jeev with rounds of 74, 68 and 72 was one-over 214 for three rounds.

Jeev’s compatriot, Shiv Kapur had a worse day with a five-over 76 that included seven bogeys and two birdies. He was lying 72nd of the 72 players who made the cut. Kapur with rounds of 72, 72 and 76 is now five-over for 54 holes.

Earlier, Jyoti Randhawa missed the half way cut. He had rounds of 75 and 77.

Welshman Bradley Dredge moved in sight of a second straight Omega European Masters victory by moving into a share of the third round lead with Australia’s Brett Rumford. The duo finished on 13 under par 200. — PTI
