Shahdara Heroes scores win

NEW DELHI: Devender and Surinder Yadav scored one goal apiece as Shahdara Heroes Club defeated Tribal Heroes 2-1 in the Delhi State Club league hockey championship at the Shivaji Stadium here on Sunday.

Shahdara Heroes led 1-0 at the breather in a well-contested match.

For Tribals, Prem Kujur was the scorer.

In other matches, Stance Club beat Aero Line Club 2-1; Invader Club defeated Young Fighters Club 3-1 and Metropolitan Club drew with Youngsters Club 3-3.
