IAF makes merry

NEW DELHI: Indian Air Force, Palam, defeated Paschim Heroes 4-1 to record its sixth straight win to top Group C in the Delhi Soccer Association’s Annual ‘A’ Division Open Clubs football league championship at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Sunday.

Edwin opened the account for Air Force in the 18th minute before Vigin (33rd minute), Gabriel (40th) and H. R. K. Singh (45th) blasted in more goals. Sandesh (55th) was the lone scorer for Paschim Heroes.

In other action Young Boys defeated Buddhist Blue Stars 3-2; Delhi Cantonment edged past Moonlight Club 4-3 and Goodwill Club beat Garhwal Diamond 2-1.
